Southwestern Idaho is comprised of 10 counties: Ada, Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owhyee, Payette, Valley and Washington. It is the most densely populated area in Idaho. Idaho's capital city, Boise, is located within this region. Industry in the area is highly diversified and includes agricultural, electronics, government, tourism and trade.
